Job Description:
We are seeking a Communications Specialist with at least three years of experience to support our Communications team. In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking and collaboration with strong writing and editing skills while effectively developing engaging internal and external content for various channels. Working closely with Marketing and the firm’s various business units, you’ll create messages that reflect our brand voice and support our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be based out of our Chadds Ford, PA, office location.

Job Responsibilities:

Creates clear, engaging internal and external content across various media, offering editorial oversight and quality control.
- Maintains and updates content across channels to ensure timely, accurate information.
- Applies brand voice and messaging across all materials to strengthen organizational identity.
- Coordinates multichannel communication plans that support organizational initiatives, events, and strategic priorities.
- Collaborates with departments, project teams, and leadership to gather information and translate it into clear, audienceâappropriate messaging.
- Assists with press releases as needed.
- Tracks engagement metrics, analyzes performance, and recommends improvements to strengthen communication impact.
- Maintains schedules for recurring communications, campaigns, and content deadlines.
- Reviews, edits, and proofreads content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assists with communication needs for company events, leadership messages, and major organizational updates.
- Reinforces company culture and values through consistent, thoughtful messaging.
- Supports other Communications-related tasks as needed.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in communications, editorial content, digital communications, or related roles
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Proficient knowledge of AP Style
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Familiarity with website/intranet content management systems (SharePoint, WordPress) and digital analytics a plus
- Self-starter with strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and produce results while adhering to multiple deadlines

The compensation range for this position is between $26.00/hr to $31.50/hour. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
