Responsibilities

The main goal of this position, which will be primarily based out of Corporate Office in Bethlehem, PA, is to develop and manage the implementation of the organization’s internal and external communications strategy, including online and offline, and supporting the company’s overarching objectives.

 

Internal Communication

 

Internal & Corporate Communication

  • Promote Group identity, values, and culture throughout the organization.

  • Coordinate all U.S. communication activities and tools; assess current practices and develop a multi-year communication strategy and deployment plan.

  • Lead editorial direction and content development for internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, Intra Press), including writing, editing, design, production, and distribution.

  • Support the design and development of a new SharePoint-based intranet to enhance internal communication and user experience.

  • Establish, maintain, and periodically review the Company Communication Policy to ensure alignment with Group standards and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with departments such as Sales, HR, and Health & Safety to deliver cohesive, brand-aligned communication initiatives that advance shared goals.

  • Internally promote the Company’s Decarbonization Strategy, highlighting key projects, developments, and achievements.

HR and Stakeholder Communication

  • Develop and manage HR promotional materials and internal communications in coordination with the Content Development Specialist.

  • Provide communication support for stakeholder engagement activities and organizational initiatives.

  • Oversee plant and terminal beautification communication efforts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.

External Communication

  • Media Relations & News Monitoring.
  • Strategic planning and coordination of any institutional communication with CEO/COO.
  • Coordination of communication on Sustainability, Stakeholder Engagement, CSR under group guidelines.
  • Management of proper brand usage across all communication materials.
  • Event Management – support on exhibitions, customer events, stakeholder engagement events.
  • Participation to trade association communication groups.
  • Website and Social: management and coordination plan of the US website and Linkedin pages, in coordination with group.
  • Crisis communication package development and deployment, under Group/CEO guidelines:
    • Stakeholder Engagement support
    • Sales promotion collateral

 Coordination

  • Coordination with Buzzi Corporate Communication for a broader Group Brand identity: monthly interaction on planning, tools, initiatives, etc
  • Monthly planning meeting with H&S
  • Monthly meeting Roadmap manager
  • By-weekly meeting with COO/CEO on deployment

Strategic Tasks expected

  • Design a structured and coordinated model of communication - especially internal communication - in conjunction with CEO.
  • Deployment of internal communication process in conjunction with CEO/HR and support to training.

Qualifications

  • Major in a related field like journalism or marketing is preferred. 
  • Must have experience in both internal and external communications, around seven (7) years of experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate well in writing and verbally, including in presentations, emails, and customer interactions.
  • Must be confident to presenters and able to give clear direction.
  • Must be able to listen to and solve problems for others, and encourage open communication.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, as communication is an important part of being an effective leader.
  • Will be responsible for managing multiple projects at once, so must be able to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish.
