The Center for Community Resources is seeking a Communications & Engagement Specialist to support the development of the agency’s marketing, communications, and community engagement efforts. This role works collaboratively to share information about services with the community, partner organizations, and provider networks while building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies and foundations. The position also supports event management, public relations initiatives, outreach, and project coordination to promote effective engagement.
The starting salary for this position is $21.54/hr. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience.

Ability to confidently present to speak on behalf of the agency Strong relationship-building skills Ability to serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for the agency Ability to co-write and implement marketing plans Ability to write and design collateral materials Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Constant Contact, WordPress, Hootsuite, social media platforms, and Photoshop Strong capability to work independently and to be self-motivated Outstanding verbal, written, and editing skills Excellent command of spelling, grammar, and composition Ability to plan, coordinate, and support events and community engagement activities Strong attention to detail Ability to organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines |
