The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator collaborates to enhance the firm’s business development and marketing efforts, ensuring effective coordination and execution of initiatives that drive growth and improve prospect and client experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and execute Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), new business presentations/pitchbooks, and proposals
- Assist with prospect and industry research and general business development activities and events
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, tracking and reporting progress
- Administer, regularly update, and qualify prospect and deepening opportunity activities in Client Relationship Management (CRM), including managing the business pipeline in CRM
- Support the Organic Growth team across new business opportunities with appropriate team members.
- Assist with executing the new client welcome package/gift initiative
- Assist with a client referral program
- Proactive coordination and frequent communication with team members, vendors, and clients at the project coordination level for events
- Support internal and client-facing events—from concept to completion—including logistics, vendor and venue management, guest communications, and on-site support.
- Help produce and coordinate the sending of email communications to clients, prospects, and COIs
- Gather, organize, and maintain business development and marketing information and files in a centralized location
- Manage inbound requests from marketing campaigns, website, industry conferences, events, and other channels
- Coordinate and execute industry surveys
- Administer web updates and social media posts when necessary
- Perform all other duties assigned for the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Development, or similar
- 3-5 years of prior business development, marketing, and event management experience, ideally in the wealth management or a similar industry.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite specifically in Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in Cvent Event Management Software, Wordpress, and Salesforce CRM.
