Description

Trib Total Media is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing & Advertising Consultant to join our team. This is an outside sales position focused on developing innovative business solutions that drive customer results across the City of Pittsburgh.

The ideal candidate is a passionate, customer-centric professional with a deep understanding of advertising and technology, capable of managing existing accounts while proactively pursuing new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Development & Growth

  • Prospect and generate new leads to consistently close new accounts and expand the company’s client base.
  • Analyze consumer needs and market trends to develop tailored, innovative solutions that address specific client challenges.
  • Identify and overcome roadblocks or obstacles to increasing business within the assigned territory.
  • Follow an established sales process designed to identify client needs and deliver best-in-class results.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the full marketing funnel, utilizing experience across top, middle, and bottom funnel tactics to meet client goals.

2. Client Management & Community Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and local businesses, educating customers on integrated marketing and business solutions.
  • Act as the face of the company within the community by actively participating in local chambers of commerce and other community organizations.
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with the current customer base to ensure continued satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Provide refined customer service by suggesting customized strategies based on feedback gathered through the discovery process.

3. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Utilize CRM and other productivity tools to meticulously track sales progress, manage pipelines, and report on goals.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of business acumen and sales processes to meet or exceed established performance benchmarks.
  • Engage in data-driven decision-making to optimize sales efforts and reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales or consulting role, with a track record of negotiating and problem-solving effectively.
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience in selling digital advertising and marketing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including the ability to execute strategies across the entire marketing funnel.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional presentations.
  • Proficiency in productivity and presentation software, including MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Reliable transportation is required for travel throughout the assigned territory.
