UX Content Writer
LOCATIONS BY PREFERENCE:
1. Most Preferred – Pittsburgh, PA, 15222
2. Second Preferred – Columbus, OH, 43213 or Phoenix, AZ, 85016
3. Remote Possible
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr. on W2 ONLY
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote Remote possible for contractors, but not preferred
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Approximately 1 year (Up to 3 Years Total)
FUNCTION OF THE GROUP: Mitigating Risk / Generating Revenue.
INITIATIVES/PROJECTS: Content design support across the Payments and Money Movement space.
INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: UX Content Design and UX Writing experience required Payments and Money Movement experience preferred
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create content for digital banking experiences and build subject matter expertise within a particular set of features.
Partner with Designers to apply UX Writing best practices.
Identify user problems and create clear, effective content solutions.
Collaborate with writers to maintain content guidelines and consistency.
Conduct user research including test plans, interview guides, scripts, and analysis.
Support the design process through content strategy integration.
Partner with Product Managers on Legal, Risk, and Compliance reviews.
Present and explain content decisions to non-experts and stakeholders.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (2–4 years):
1. 2–4 years of UX Writing and/or UX Content Design experience,
2. Strong copywriting and editing skills,
3. Digital content delivery experience,
4. Client Office proficiency,
5. Experience working in regulated environments (Legal, Compliance, Risk),
6. Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, or similar regulated-industry experience.
FLEX SKILLS:
1. Experience in Payments or Money Movement preferred,
2. Experience with Figma,
3. Agile methodology experience,
4. Content strategy experience,
5. Design thinking knowledge,
6. Digital communications experience,
7. UX Design exposure,
8. Banking, Investments, Financial Services, Insurance or Healthcare experience.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Relevant experience prioritized over degree requirements.
