The Marketing Intern will be responsible for spearheading creative projects that drive community engagement and agency collaboration through The Nanny Loftโ€™s website and social media. They will create a 10- to 12-week social media campaign utilizing content that focuses on the people, culture, and services of The Nanny Loft. This is a part time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent after the summer.

Professional video creation experience is not required, however it is expected that you have some knowledge surrounding photography, videography, and editing. Those with knowledge surrounding analytics and SEO are also encouraged to apply. There will be opportunities to learn alongside and collaborate with TNL staff, particularly our Outreach Coordinator and Communications Coordinator.

While the qualifications listed are preferred, we encourage anyone who is passionate about nonprofit work, child safety and development, and/or community outreach and education to apply. Duties:

  • Social media campaign creation and execution on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Implementation of marketing strategies in TNL website.
  • Travel throughout the Lehigh Valley and go onsite to capture content (photos and videos) including interviewing TNL staff on camera.
  • Scripting, filming, and editing marketing materials and keeping thorough documentation of all processes either through spreadsheets or other means.
  • Building a photo consent form to utilize with sitters and clients.
  • Collaborate with The Nanny Loft staff on special projects as outlined in the position description.
  • Communicate clearly with families and TNL administrative staff regarding operations, scheduling, etc.
  • Utilize Google Workspace and Canva for all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with or education in marketing, outreach, social media creation, photography, videography, editing, and willingness to learn.
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable means of transportation and ability to travel throughout the Lehigh Valley.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to unexpected situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, any video editing software.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of The Nanny Loft.

Working Environment:

  • This is a part-time remote position that includes regular working at a computer, typing, reading a screen, and participating in phone and video calls with TNL staff.
  • There is some travel required to locations within the Lehigh Valley.
