In this vital role, work involves creating and managing inclusive and accessible high-quality digital content; developing social media strategies and tactics that align and support the Commission’s goals and branding standards; ensuring excellent digital constituent experiences; and, working with third-party marketing firms to maximize opportunities for agency digital success. The Social Media Coordinator effectively communicates the PFBC mission, vision, and values along with the importance of PFBC programs. Responsibilities include creating, capturing and managing high-quality digital content, including but not limited to: video and audio assets, photography, creative graphics, digital marketing and advertising. You will have the opportunity to develop social media strategies and tactics, manage the Commission’s social media channels, and create and maintain content calendars. Communication is key as you obtain and review user-generated content and respond to questions and concerns expressed on social media platforms by the public, partners, and other constituents.
