As a Social Media Coordinator at Vault, you will be hands-on in managing and growing social media accounts for our clients across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, and more. You'll play a key role in content creation, community management, and social listening, ensuring our clients stay ahead of trends and actively engage with their audiences. Role Overview:
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day social media activities for our clients. This includes content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and trend monitoring. You will also assist in tracking performance metrics and working closely with cross-functional teams to support campaign execution. Your deep understanding of social media trends and keen instincts will help position our clients at the forefront of industry conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Capture, Creation & Publishing: Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, etc.), ensuring alignment with brand voice and aesthetic. Collaborate with the creative team to design posts, stories, and videos that resonate with target audiences. Capture both video and static, social-forward content as needed.
- Community Engagement: Actively manage and grow clients' online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, on-brand, and professional manner. Identify opportunities for creative commenting and viral engagement to insert brands into cultural conversations.
- Collaboration & Campaign Support: Partner with creative and account teams to execute cohesive campaigns, ensuring social media efforts align with broader marketing goals. Assist in supporting larger campaigns with social media content that amplifies key initiatives.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of the latest social media trends, tools, platform updates, and viral moments. Proactively suggest innovative ideas and creative approaches to keep clients ahead of the curve and increase engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess content effectiveness. Regularly report insights to optimize content strategies and ensure continuous improvement.
- Content Innovation: Brainstorm and execute creative video content (e.g., TikTok trends, Instagram Reels) to enhance storytelling and authentically connect with audiences.
- Influencer Marketing: Maintain a pulse on creator content and assist with managing influencer marketing strategies. Foster meaningful relationships with talent partners and support collaborations that align with the social media strategy.
- Regional Travel: Travel regionally as needed to manage creator activations, attend events, and capture content that aligns with brand and campaign goals.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, ideally within the tourism, lifestyle, or related industries.
- Proven ability to create and manage engaging, high-quality content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a knack for capturing and maintaining a distinct brand voice across different platforms.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite) and a solid understanding of how to use data to inform and optimize strategy.
- The approach of a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, visual aesthetics, and staying ahead of trends.
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms and best practices for content distribution.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Experience with Sprout Social, Canva, and other creative or reporting tools is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve client goals.
- A true passion for social media and an "always-on" approach to tracking trends and identifying opportunities for real-time engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in consumer brand marketing, particularly in sectors such as tourism, lifestyle, or hospitality.
