SUMMARY
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and growth-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our expanding Media Services team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Social Media Strategists to develop and execute engaging social media strategies, plans and organic content, monitor performance, and interact with audiences to drive and amplify awareness and engagement for our clients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work closely with Social Media Strategists, client services, design, and copy specialists to execute and deliver high-quality social content that aligns with clients’ objectives and target audiences.
- Assist the Social Media Strategist in ideating monthly calendars, leveraging social trends, creative thinking and industry research.
- Manage post scheduling in our social media management platform, owning content tags and other features to make reporting a breeze.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of social media content and campaigns.
- Monitor and engage with online communities to build brand loyalty and advocacy, responding to comments and messages on time and on brand.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to keep clients’ social media efforts innovative and relevant.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager on organic content initiatives and opportunities.
We’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media coordination or management, preferably in an agency or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Meltwater, etc.)
- Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Critical thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
