As a Senior Social Media Manager at Vault, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing social media strategies for our diverse roster of clients. Our ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of hands-on experience leading social media strategy, execution, and optimization for consumer brands, with a deep understanding of both organic and paid tactics across major platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Role Overview:

You will lead the charge in developing and implementing social media strategies that align with our clients’ business objectives and marketing goals. You will work closely with our internal account and creative teams to ensure that social media efforts complement and amplify larger campaigns and brand objectives. You will also guide and mentor a talented team of social media professionals, overseeing day-to-day activities, from content creation to campaign reporting and optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, X). Ensure strategies are aligned with client objectives and continuously refined for maximum impact.
  • Content Calendar Oversight: Oversee the development of content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and seamless execution of social media campaigns, while ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Community Growth & Engagement: Manage and grow social media communities, driving engagement, brand awareness, and positive sentiment through strategic content and community interaction.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of social media coordinators, ensuring alignment, creativity, and high performance. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development to foster team growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, PR, and digital teams to integrate social strategy into larger marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and cohesive execution.
  • Brand Guardianship: Serve as the brand guardian across all social platforms, maintaining a consistent voice, tone, and storytelling approach that resonates with audiences and strengthens brand identity.
  • Social Listening & Trend Monitoring: Drive social listening efforts to stay on top of industry and cultural conversations, identify emerging trends and opportunities for brands to insert themselves into relevant conversations and capitalize on newsjacking moments.
  • Performance Reporting & Insights: Track and report on key social media metrics, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content and strategy for improved engagement and ROI. Leverage data to adjust strategies on the fly, ensuring continuous improvement in reach, engagement, and overall campaign performance.
  • Influencer Marketing: Manage influencer marketing strategies, leading collaborations and partnerships that align with overall social media campaigns and brand objectives to enhance audience reach.
  • Regional Travel: Travel regionally as needed to manage creator activations, attend events, and capture content that aligns with brand and campaign goals.


Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on social media marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing strategy, execution, and optimization across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter/X and beyond).
  • A boundless passion for social media, with an "always-on" mindset for staying ahead of trends and being at the forefront of the latest developments in the space. Consistently eager to discover, understand, and leverage emerging trends to drive innovation and keep brands relevant.
  • Proven success in growing and managing social communities.
  • Exceptional reporting and analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling stories and actionable insights.
  • Strong background in paid social strategy, with a broad understanding of how paid tactics complement organic social efforts.
  • Sharp creative writing skills, with the ability to develop captivating captions, blog posts, and content that aligns with a brand’s voice.
  • Hands on experience with influencer marketing, from strategy development to execution, with a keen ability to identify and manage talent partnerships.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve client goals.
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, emerging trends, and industry shifts, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to change.
  • A highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented mindset, with excellent time management skills to keep campaigns on track and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using Sprout Social or similar tools to manage and report on social media campaigns.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working in consumer brand marketing, particularly in industries such as tourism, lifestyle, or hospitality.
  • Proficiency with social media tools like Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and other creative and reporting platforms.
  • A deep understanding of social media crises management and reputation monitoring.
