SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Marketing Director the Regional Marketing Manager serves as the main marketing contact for Northeast offices, overseeing local marketing initiatives, events, and sponsorships in collaboration with leadership and client growth teams. This role manages budgets, client entertainment activities, and supports community engagement efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Management oversight for all Northeast office hosted marketing and business development events including but not limited to on and off-site receptions, large meetings, co-hosted events, and political fundraisers as assigned.
Works closely with the Client Growth and Marketing Team to deliver high quality experiences for clients and guests of the Northeast offices.
Makes recommendations to Office Managing Partner/Partner-In-Charge regarding local memberships, sponsorships and community support to maximize marketing value.
Manages local client and community budgets as well local sports and entertainment budget. Works directly with Office Managing Partnerβs/Partner-In Charge and Assistant Marketing Director to develop annual budget and monthly monitoring.
Manages all aspects of local contributions and sponsorships including internal and external communications, payment, maximizing sponsorship benefits, ad and logo coordination and ticket/table fulfilment.
Manages client entertainment ticket allocation and distribution. Maintains relationships with vendors.
Utilizes marketing database for list management, event registrations and post event tracking.
Utilizes available business development research tools to identify marketing prospects, due diligence and strategic marketing information on request.
Communicates current event related information to the website coordinator and posts applicable event information to internal tracking documents and calendars.
Stay abreast of PR activity & initiatives relating to assigned offices and connect lawyers with communications team and client growth members as matters/projects arise.
Regular travel to regional offices as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Four (4) years of progressively responsible related work experience preferable including heavy event planning and coordination in a professional services industry.
Interpersonal and communication skills in order to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and clients and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact while safeguarding confidentiality, and to effectively negotiate and represent the firm in a professional manner.
Experience in utilizing marketing databases, and a familiarity with marketing related computer tools. Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Work often requires more than forty (40) hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Also requires irregular hours and occasional travel.
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
Ability to proofread typed materials for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
