A Day in the Life

We are searching for an enthusiastic and innovation-driven addition for our SmartPlan team! The SmartPlan global team provides remote aortic pre-procedural sizing and planning support to physicians and the Medtronic field for all types of aortic cases. Next to pre-procedural sizing and planning of aortic cases, the team supports training and education workshops, provides case support in the field, when needed, and plays a key role in digital health projects focused on covering unmet customer and patient needs.

Remote Sizing and Planning Specialist 

We are searching for an enthusiastic and innovation-driven addition for our SmartPlan team! The SmartPlan global team provides remote aortic pre-procedural sizing and planning support to physicians and the Medtronic field for all types of aortic cases. Next to pre-procedural sizing and planning of aortic cases, the team supports training and education workshops, provides case support in the field, when needed, and plays a key role in digital health projects focused on covering unmet customer and patient needs.  

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Pre-procedural sizing and planning of aortic cases, both thoracic and abdominal, ranging from complex to standard.

  • Supports field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.

  • Supports training and education workshops of healthcare professionals and Medtronic field personnel.

  • Leads or supports projects related to digital health, involving novel technologies based on artificial intelligence

  • Provides technical support in the field for aortic cases

  • Identifies and facilitates execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior Aortic therapy experience

  • CS: Associate’s degree and 4 years clinical experience in healthcare, OR Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years clinical experience in healthcare.

  • Sr CS: Associate’s degree and 6 years clinical experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years clinical experience

  • Prin CS: Associate Degree and 9 years’ clinical experience with at least 5 years’ experience in the Vascular industry, OR Bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ clinical experience with at least 3 years’ experience in the Vascular industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous field experience as a Clinical Specialist and/or Sales Rep

  • Computer and tech savvy

  • Imaging interpretation experience (CT, Angiograms)

  • Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology

  • Innovation minded

  • Analytical

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Team spirit and empathy, ability to interact with the physicians and the Sales Representatives

  • Outstanding organization and prioritizing skills

  • Willingness to work remotely

  • Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, work-schedule

  • Ability to travel 20% of time

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):105000

 

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
