As a Police Communications Operator, you will support Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) law enforcement. You will receive calls from 911 operators, gather information, and dispatch details. You will prioritize emergency and non-emergency incidents to determine response requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills to interface with the general public as well as municipal police, fire, ambulance, towing, and PennDOT regarding active events and concerns. In addition, you will utilize computer programs such as CLEAN, JNET, and PFAD to access, research, and maintain records.
