Position Overview

The Marketing Technology & Operations Manager is a role that blends strategic management of our MarTech stack with process-driven operational efficiency. You will own the end‑to‑end orchestration of our project management tools, marketing automation, analytics, and integration initiatives with the CRM (in combination with the Enterprise Product/CRM team)—driving data‑informed campaign performance, seamless handoffs between marketing and sales, and scalable, AI‑enabled workflows.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • CRM & MarTech Management:
    • Implement, configure, and optimize our CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, SF Marketing Cloud) in conjunction with the Enterprise Product team and Salesforce developers.
    • Maintain overall health of the technology stack, including regular audits, version upgrades, and vendor partnerships
    • Build workflow automation for demand generation campaigns within HubSpot and create Salesforce dashboards for marketing and sales channel leadership visibility.
    • Potential to select, implement and optimize a new tool over the next 6-12 months.
  • System Integration & Data Flow:
    • Design and maintain integrations between marketing systems, sales operations tools, and data warehouses.
    • Ensure real‑time, bi‑directional data sync for leads, contacts, and campaign metrics.
  • List & Contact Management
    • Manage and maintain accurate and compliant contact databases across CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).
    • Develop and implement segmentation strategies to support targeted campaigns, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing programs.
    • Ensure data hygiene by regularly cleaning, de-duplicating, and enriching contact records.
    • Collaborate with sales, operations, and compliance teams to uphold data governance policies and ensure opt-in/opt-out compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
    • Create and maintain dynamic and static lists for campaign execution, reporting, and audience analysis.
    • Monitor contact engagement and list health to inform deliverability strategy and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track campaign ROI, funnel metrics, and pipeline acceleration.
    • Conduct advanced analysis (segmentation, attribution modeling) to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Process Optimization & Governance:
    • Define and document best practices for lead lifecycle, campaign launch checklists, and data governance.
    • Identify bottlenecks in campaign execution and implement automation (e.g., AI‑driven lead scoring, sequence triggers) to improve speed and accuracy.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, IT and external agencies to align on technology roadmaps, budget planning, and project timelines.
    • Act as the primary liaison for MarTech vendor evaluations, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Training & Change Management:
    • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs to ensure adoption of new tools and features.
    • Create user guides, cheat sheets, and sandbox environments for continuous learning.
  • Innovation & AI Enablement:
    • Research and pilot emerging AI/ML technologies (e.g., generative AI for content).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience managing MarTech platforms and CRM systems in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of integrating complex marketing and sales systems, including custom API work and middleware tools
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in SQL, data visualization tools, and campaign attribution methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, Calendy, AgoraPulse, GaggleAMP,) and Agile/Scrum practices
  • Deep understanding of AI applications in marketing, such as chatbots, predictive lead scoring, and automated content generation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and a continuous improvement mindset

Working Conditions

  • Extensive desk-based work involving prolonged periods using a computer and sitting for extended periods
  • Frequent interaction with team members, management, agents, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and collaborations
