Marketing Specialist

Trib Total Media is seeking a strategic, creative, and highly collaborative Marketing Specialist to drive integrated marketing initiatives, enhance brand exposure, and support critical revenue and audience goals. The ideal candidate is an execution-focused leader with hands-on experience in the digital space, email marketing and graphic design.

Core Responsibilities

1. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Encourage and drive collaboration across the organization by serving as a liaison between Marketing and key departments such as Advertising, Circulation and Editorial along with affiliates 535media and Brand Motives.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to align marketing strategies with sales goals, audience growth targets, and editorial content initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent, cohesive messaging and brand representation in all external and internal communications.
  • Engage in community development by managing relationships with external agencies, partners, freelancers, and vendors

 

2. Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Design, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (traditional, digital, social, email) to promote the products and services of Trib Total Media, 535media and Brand Motives.
  • Utilize email marketing and marketing automation to develop lead nurturing workflows, manage email lists, track campaign performance, and optimize customer journeys.
  • Proactively develop innovative strategies to gain exposure and drive measurable results from existing and future marketing efforts.
  • Employ a working knowledge and understanding of Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager and how to use those tools for scheduling, reporting and/or attribution.

3. Creative Content & Design

  • Lead the development of marketing collateral, including writing compelling copy and coordinating or executing visual assets.
  • Apply design skills to create engaging digital and print materials (ads, social media graphics, flyers, emails, landing pages) that adhere to brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Through data-driven decision making, monitor and track active marketing programs, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role, preferably in the media or publishing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) to create high-quality marketing materials.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign management, and performance analytics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a track record of building successful working relationships across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varied timelines and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High degree of organization, problem-solving ability, and a self-motivated approach.
  • Photography and video production and editing skills a plus.
