New School was created with a clear mission: rebuild American cheese from the ground up. Their products are crafted with clean ingredients, real culinary intention, and a focus on flavor and melt — earning credibility with chefs and a place on menus at top restaurants.
Now, as demand expands beyond foodservice, the team is focused on building a consistent, premium brand presence that resonates with both industry partners and everyday consumers.
This is an early-stage, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate directly with the founders and help shape how New School shows up across digital channels, chef communities, trade touchpoints, and retail as they scale.

What You Will Do

As Marketing Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day brand and marketing execution—across foodservice, retail, and consumer audiences. You’ll own content calendars, digital campaigns, trade show support, influencer and chef collaborations, and brand storytelling. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to make their mark on a premium, design-forward food brand.

Strategy & Execution

  • Support and execute the marketing plan across channels
  • Translate brand strategy into effective marketing campaigns
  • Build and maintain campaign calendars for launches, partnerships, and seasonal moments

Digital & Social

  • Own social media strategy and content creation (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Run email marketing for B2B and consumer audiences
  • Manage website updates and ongoing digital storytelling
  • Track engagement and performance metrics

Brand Development & Community

  • Oversee marketing collateral: signage, stickers, apparel, and other assets
  • Lead food influencer partnerships in priority markets
  • Support trade shows, events, and customer activations
  • Build strong relationships with chefs, restaurant operators, and retail partners
  • Ensure consistent, premium brand representation across touchpoints

Creative & Content

  • Support photo/video shoots and content development
  • Produce decks, sell sheets, and branded toolkits
  • Light design work in Canva or Adobe is a plus

You’re a versatile marketer who can balance creative thinking with strong execution. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities, producing content, and building relationships across both foodservice and consumer audiences. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments. Above all, you care about great food, great branding, and bringing thoughtful products to market.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, ideally with a consumer or food/beverage brand
  • Proven ability to own projects from concept to execution
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Experience running digital campaigns and managing social media
  • Passion for food, branding, and the restaurant world

Bonus Points

  • Experience at a high-growth or startup CPG brand
  • Familiarity with foodservice marketing and restaurant/hospitality culture
  • Light graphic design ability or creative production experience
  • Strong writing skills and brand voice sensibility
