Description

The Modjeski and Masters (M&M) Marketing Department is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern interested in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. This intern will support the corporate marketing team in tracking, preparing, and submitting high-quality content in response to government Requests for Proposals or Qualifications (RFP/Qs). This internship offers hands-on experience in proposal development, coordination, compliance, and data management. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and ready to contribute in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Journalism, English, or Business.
  • Interest in the AEC industry and a desire to learn about proposal coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MS365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) or similar tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to receive feedback, and commitment to professional growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the development of proposals, qualifications, presentations, and marketing materials in response to RFP/Qs and business development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and subject-matter experts for content collection and organization.
  • Help ensure proposals and marketing collateral align with client instructions and internal style/brand guidelines.
  • Participate in planning and tracking proposal schedules, milestones, and review cycles.
  • Contribute to editing written sections for clarity and consistency.
  • Support maintenance of content library, including boilerplate, resumes, and project descriptions.
  • Participate in proposal closeout and post-submission debriefs to learn about process improvements and proposal best practices.
  • Occasionally support business development activities, including client feedback management and CRM updates.
  • Other duties as assigned, with opportunities for mentorship and skill development.
