ENGEL Machinery North America has a job opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in our onsite Warehouse in York. Position Summary:
The Marketing and Events Specialist is responsible for supporting the company�s marketing initiatives with a strong focus on event planning, coordination, and execution. This role will manage the logistics of trade shows and events, including booth arrangements, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. The position also includes supporting social media and digital marketing activities, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Event Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, industry events, and promotional campaigns.
• Handle booth space bookings, coordinate with booth builders, and manage orders from vendors.
• Ensure seamless on-site execution by managing logistics, schedules, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other ENGEL departments, including HQ in Austria, to ensure alignment with global marketing strategies.
• Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure activities stay within allocated financial limits.

Digital Marketing & Social Media:

• Manage the company�s social media presence, creating and scheduling content to promote events, campaigns, and product information.
• Collaborate with ENGEL�s lead management team and external SEA partners, reviewing their reports and ensuring insights are integrated into the marketing strategy.
• Develop media plans, obtain quotes from media outlets, and manage communication with key contacts to ensure effective campaign execution.

Content Development:

• Support the creation of locally developed marketing content such as articles, social media posts, images, and videos to connect with target audiences in North America.
• Apply SEO keyword optimization techniques to website content to enhance visibility and search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with regional marketers to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
• Review and adapt translated content to ensure language and messaging are suitable and effective for the local market.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Act as a key liaison with vendors, media outlets, and partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Work within ENGEL's Americas regional marketing team, fostering collaboration across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor�s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, or communications.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in event coordination, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site execution.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and social media platforms.
• Familiarity with AI marketing tools such as ChatGPT or similar is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce/Pardot newsletter creation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in content creation (text, images, video) for marketing campaigns is a plus.
• Curiosity and genuine interest in learning about machinery and plastics technology to effectively engage with technical topics and audiences.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Office-based with occasional travel required for trade shows and events, including international travel to ENGEL HQ in Austria and other global locations about 15% to 20% of the time.
• Periodic presence in production areas may be required to gather technical information or coordinate photo/video shoots.
• Must be able to lift materials and equipment as needed for events and exhibits.
