In this Administrative Officer 3 position, you will be responsible for planning and developing marketing and communication strategies to promote awareness of the Commission’s programs and services and to increase the sale of hunting and furtaking licenses. Work also involves participating in and leading project and contractor management, our Marketing Division team, program support, and cross-agency communication. This includes supervising and managing Marketing Division staff, including daily operations, assignment of work, performance evaluation, coaching, and professional development.
We will rely on your professional expertise and collaborative leadership abilities to determine appropriate marketing strategies, tools, and channels for promoting hunting-related products and public engagement programs; prioritize division resources, assigns staff tasks, and set timelines for marketing projects; and approve creative concepts and preliminary materials before external distribution. You will also be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of marketing and the ongoing evolution of the Commission’s approaches through continuous research, evaluation, and stakeholder feedback.
