Marketing Coordinator - Email & SMS
Job Summary:
The Retention Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for driving Mishimoto’s email and SMS marketing campaigns to strengthen customer engagement and loyalty. You’ll be the go-to expert for delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time, announcing new products, promoting special offers, sharing brand stories, and gathering insights through consumer surveys.
In this role, you’ll oversee a comprehensive campaign calendar to ensure timely, consistent communication that aligns with marketing and sales initiatives. You’ll also oversee the health of our email and SMS contact databases, ensuring compliance, deliverability, and segmentation best practices. With a strong balance of creativity and precision, you’ll build and deploy impactful campaigns that keep customers informed, connected, and excited about all things Mishimoto.
What You’ll Do:
- Campaign Execution: Build, schedule, and deploy promotional, transactional, and automated email and SMS campaigns using our email marketing platform.
- List Management: Maintain and segment customer lists to ensure accuracy, deliverability, and targeted audience communication.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, content, design, and CTAs to continually improve open rates, CTR, and conversions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Design, Marketing, Sales and eCommerce teams to produce visually appealing and compelling email and SMS content aligning with our overall marketing initiatives and brand voice.
- Automation Support: Assist in developing and maintaining automated campaigns, onboarding sequences, and transactional messages.
- Compliance: Ensure all campaigns follow email and SMS best practices and regulations.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics; prepare actionable reports to share insights and recommendations.
- Support: Provide support on other marketing initiatives such as social media, promotions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Creds:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience, with a focus on email marketing, SMS and retention marketing.
- Well versed in email marketing platforms including campaign workflows and automations, list segmentation and campaign analytics. Knowledge of email health metrics and standards.
