The Marketing & Community Events Coordinator supports the Bank’s marketing team by planning and executing community events, assisting with social media and digital marketing activities, and coordinating the development of marketing materials and campaigns. This hands-on role collaborates closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver effective, brand-consistent marketing initiatives that promote the Bank’s products, services, and community presence.


 

1.  Community Event Planning & Execution 

· Plans and coordinates logistics for the Bank’s community events, sponsorships, and volunteer initiatives

· Serves as liaison with community partners and event organizers under manager direction

· Develops event plans, checklists, staffing schedules, and materials

· Attends events to oversee setup, staff participation, customer engagement, and teardown

· Ensures a professional, brand-consistent presence at all events

2.   Marketing Campaigns, Digital/Social Media Marketing & Content Creation

 Marketing Campaigns 

o Assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for Bank products, services, and promotions

o Coordinates marketing materials and assets across channels, ensuring brand consistency

o Prepares campaign checklists and timelines to support on-time delivery

o Works with the Marketing Manager to track and report on campaign performance, including basic analytics for social media and advertising

  Social Media

o Assists with social media content planning and calendar management

o Creates brand-approved graphics and posts using design tools and templates

o Schedules and publishes approved content on social platforms

o Monitors social channels for engagement, flags customer inquiries, and assists with responses

o Collects photos, videos, and stories from events and branches for digital content

o Supports social media contests or community engagement initiatives

  Digital Marketing

o Assists with digital marketing campaigns, including content updates, list maintenance, and scheduling

o Supports website updates with manager guidance

o Maintains image and content libraries for easy access and use in digital channels

3.   Marketing Materials & Content Development

o Assists with the creation, proofing, and ordering of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, signage, and promotional items

o Uses basic graphic design tools to adapt or customize materials within brand guidelines

o Ensures timely delivery and distribution of materials to branches and staff

o Maintains inventory of promotional items and coordinates reorders

4.   Vendor & Administrative Coordination

o Coordinates with vendors (printers, promo suppliers, event services) under manager direction

o Manages timelines and ensures quality and cost-effectiveness of outsourced work

o Maintains marketing calendars, project lists, and event schedules

o Tracks marketing expenses and prepares basic reports for manager review

o Supports internal communications as needed

5.   Compliance & Risk Management

o Ensures consistent application of brand standards across all materials, events, and digital channels

o Maintains organized records of marketing approvals, assets, and vendor contracts

o Assists with adherence to internal marketing policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  

Education/Training: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study preferred; 


Skill(s): Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools; basic graphic design ability (e.g. , Canva, Adobe Creative Suite); excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and planning abilities; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; thorough knowledge of bank products and services; working knowledge of current and proposed bank regulations affecting the marketing function; valid driver's license.


Experience: One to three years of experience in Marketing, PR, Events Coordination, or related roles.
