Hill International is seeking a Marketing Assistant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a hybrid work schedule in the Philadelphia office.
The Marketing Assistant is a key support to the Corporate Marketing team by assisting in the creation, development, and execution of a wide range of marketing materials across multiple platforms. This can include but is not limited to social media visual content and captions writing, print and digital ads, multimedia assets, collateral design, website content support, and event materials.
The ideal candidate for this role is a creative and detail-oriented communicator. They should have a foundational understanding of brand strategy, audience engagement, and opportunity generation. A passion for customer-focused marketing is essential, along with a willingness to learn and grow as a storyteller, editor, designer, and manager.
The Marketing Assistant should also have strong analytical skills, emphasizing the importance of data-driven decisions in marketing. Critical skills include creating and managing marketing campaigns, website and social media platform management, and a proven understanding of branding and maintaining brand consistency across all platforms and materials.
Develop and assess content to support and enhance marketing initiatives, continuously conducting usability tests to evaluate effectiveness and track traffic growth.
Ensure consistency with brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all marketing touchpoints.
Align content themes and assets to the needs of target audiences, infusing brand voice and attributes.
Maintain an editorial calendar that aligns with business objectives, key announcements, and upcoming events to ensure timely and strategic content delivery.
Contribute to the writing, design, and production of diverse marketing materials, including brochures, conference collateral, direct mail campaigns, award submissions, presentations, videos, and internal communications.
Collaborate with technical staff to translate complex information into visually engaging and audience-appropriate materials.
Support the development of digital marketing content for social media, including paid ads aimed at strategic pre-sales, public relations outreach, conferences, and speaking engagements; monitor performance analytics to inform future strategic planning.
Ensure all marketing materials align with the firm’s standards, branding, mission, and business development strategies and goals.
Assist with the design, content development, and ongoing maintenance of the company website to ensure accuracy, functionality, and brand consistency.
Organize and maintain digital assets, ensuring accurate tagging and association for streamlined access and usability.
Provide logistical support for events and conferences, including shipping materials, managing registrations, and overseeing digital and print materials.
Develop analytics and reports with KPIs to show continued successes.
Execute in-office tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing preferred.
2+ years’ experience leading multichannel content creation.
Experience in Marketing, Communications, or Proposal environment for design, construction, or project management firms preferred.
Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, and Canva (or similar design platforms).
Extensive social media and web platform experience – Wordpress preferred.
Experience creating compelling messages for different target audiences and markets.
Excellent organizational and time management skills: proven capability to manage everything from strategy to the small details needed to execute projects and programs.
A willingness to embrace change, learn and adapt to strategies on the fly.
Proven track record in public relations campaigns and publicity generation.
