Manager of Engagement

The Engagement Manager supports the Senior Director of Regional Engagement with the execution of United Way's stakeholder engagement strategy, including all programs that educate stakeholders about the challenges United Way is working to address in the community-such as Connect U and the Poverty Spiral. This role also oversees United Way's organizational-wide events strategy, ensuring that all events incorporate a strong educational component and are designed to deepen stakeholder understanding of and connection to United Way's mission. Through strategic alignment of engagement and event efforts, the Engagement Manager plays a key role in mobilizing thousands of volunteers, hundreds of the region's top companies, and leading human services agencies in support of United Way's overall strategic objectives. Additionally, this individual will assist with volunteer activities to contribute to the work of the Volunteer Engagement team.

A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in volunteer management, event planning or similar field is required. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of education.

Annual Salary

Pay Grade 105

Salary Range - $46,041 - $52,000
