The Manager, Medical Communications, applies their product and disease expertise to develop customer materials for use in response to unsolicited medical information requests, conduct training sessions on scientific/product knowledge, and peer review promotional and sales assets for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops medical information materials - Builds and maintains standard replies, formulary dossiers, slide decks and clinical presentations in support of customer needs. Provides Medical Information booth support at major scientific meetings. Supports new product launches.
  • Reviews documents for medical accuracy – Conducts peer review of scientific documents and provides medical guidance for development or review of promotional or sales training assets.
  • Conducts training sessions for scientific knowledge – Prepares and reviews product training materials for sales, Medical Information contact center team, and other internal business partners. Provides initial and ongoing training for new hires and students/fellows.
  • Handles advanced scientific inquiries – Applies scientific and therapeutic area knowledge to respond to advanced, non-standard medical information inquiries.
  • Participates in project teams and manages selected Medical Information vendor projects – Provides mentorship and oversight of clinical response creation and dossier development, as needed.

Requirements

  • PharmD degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of meaningful experience in Medical Information, or a 2-year focused fellowship in Medical Information
  • Proven ability to conduct literature analysis
  • Experience developing responses to inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers
  • Analytical and evaluative skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across functions/departments
  • Ability to work in Horsham, PA 3 days a week and travel domestically up to 10%

Preferred:

  • Immunology therapeutic area experience
  • Deep understanding of products and diseases
  • Ability to facilitate and teach
  • External customer focus
