We are seeking a Manager, Marketing Communications to lead the development, implementation, and introduction of global communication strategies to promote Industrial Scientific products and services. The Manager, Marketing Communications will lead campaign creation and execution — spearheading innovative, data-informed marketing campaigns that build awareness and drive demand and expansion across the market. This role is a player-coach and will oversee a team comprised of content, creative, and events. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, inquisitive, creative, efficient, and comfortable interacting across the entire organization.  

Essential Responsibilities: 

Campaign Strategy Development and Execution

  • Define and deliver campaign strategy to support growth objectives
  • Establish standard processes for campaign development, ensuring efficient workflows and easy delivery to regional teams 
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of integrated campaigns spanning multiple channels, including email, events, digital advertising, content marketing, social media, and ABM 
  • Optimize campaigns to meet performance measurements and goals, including MQL to SQL conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI

Content, Creative, and Communications:

  • Oversee the creation of high-impact marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, press releases, newsletter, and digital content
  • Ensure that all content is consistent with brand identity, style, and messaging
  • Build and maintain relations with key industry outlets, media, and journalists to ensure consistent and effective media coverage
  • Partner with broader marketing team to amplify content across earned, owned, and paid channels

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and user-events
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional activities, and pre- and post- campaigns to maximize impact and ROI
  • Work closely with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful event execution

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Act as a player/coach by actively participating in the execution of projects, leading by examples and setting a high standard for the team
  • Foster a culture of innovation, rapid experimentation, and continuous improvement
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of content, creative, and event specialists.

 Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years’ experience (preferably in B2B) developing and executing campaigns / programs that drive results 
  • Demonstrable ability in data-driven decision making, market analysis, and revenue-focused marketing strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven ability to influence and align teams around shared business outcomes 
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects 
  • Up to 15% travel 
  • Preferred: Experience with a safety product or in the industrial space
