Full-Time Position for Home Health Care Marketing Liaison (Luzerne and Surrounding Counties). 

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for aspects of agency marketing including identifying, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with healthcare providers, community facilities/organizations, customers and referral sources. Is responsible for planning and executing strategic initiatives aimed at growing and developing the programs implemented by Compass Home Health & Rehab LLC.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assists in the development and planning strategic marketing and business development initiatives; In conjunction with the CEO/President/Administrator.
  2. Coordinates and integrates Agency marketing activities through regular conferences with the CEO/President/Administrator, and/or other marketing personnel and supervisors.
  3. Utilizes marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. Actively pursues new opportunities to expand home care services.
  4. Identifies and develops targeted referral sources including community organizations, case managers/facility discharge planners, healthcare providers, third party payers, and support organizations.
  5. Networks, establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources, community organizations and payer sources to increase referral volume, improve referral base, as well as knowledge of the agency and service throughout the service area.
  6. Builds and monitors community, customer, and payers’ perceptions of Compass Home Health & Rehab LLC as a high-quality provider services.
  7. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Compass Home Health & Rehab LLC markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning and anticipates future changes and trends.
  8. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares the information with leadership.
  9. Maintains documentation on all referral source contacts and reports business outcomes, including needs and feedback; and shares information with appropriate agency personnel.
  10. Maintains close communication with the intake personnel and supervisors to assure adequate staffing to handle amount and location of service requests.
  11. Monitors and reports cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts, prepares reports on agency and business development activities for the leadership team.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Has at least two years’ experience in health care administration, preferably in marketing or Home Health Care and/or Home Care operations.
  2. Has an ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  3. Has knowledge of Home Care processes/policies and business management.
  4. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft office systems.
  5. Ability to travel and work flexible hours. 
  6. Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
  7. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
