Job Description

Are you a content creator, social media guru, or budding filmmaker with a passion for powersports? The Comoto Family of Brands, including RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, REVER, and Common Tread is seeking a Freelance Content & Media Assistant to support our in-house studio and content teams.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to gain invaluable experience that will set you apart. Your work will be part of Comoto's massive content ecosystem, a major resource for the powersports community. Our brands have a combined following of over 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube, ~400k followers across our Instagram accounts, and nearly 200k followers on TikTok. Our final creations, supported by you, will be seen by millions of riders and enthusiasts, giving your resume a serious boost.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with studio production, including set preparation and basic camera operation.
• Support post-production by helping with footage organization and basic editing.
• Create and optimize short-form social media content for our brands' channels.

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm
Duration: ~1 month, this could be extended or may be shortened depending on studio needs.
Compensation: $25/hr

Qualifications

Our Ideal Freelancer Has These Technical & Creative Skills:

• Camera & Studio Operations: You know your way around various cameras, from smartphones to professional units, and have experience with basic studio lighting and audio.
• Editing: You're familiar with NLEs like Adobe Premiere or FCPX.
• File Management: You have a solid grasp of DIT and file management.
• Social Media: You're proficient with all major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and have experience with tools like CapCut.
• Communication: You can effectively communicate ideas in creative meetings and on camera

A Few Other Must-Haves (and nice-to-haves):

• You must submit a demo reel along with your application.
• You must have access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license. Most of our shoots will be done in our studio, but some may be off-site at another local location. This gig doesn't require travel, but you will need to be able to get to our shoot locations with the proper equipment.
• We would love for you to have an interest in powersports and a motorcycle license (along with the comfort to move bikes) would be extra-credit for this opportunity. This is not a requirement.
