EXPERIENCED SERVICE WRITER

Description of the role:

The experienced service writer position is responsible for managing service appointments,billing and estimates. Communicating with the service technicians and service manager at Shively Motors INC in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves maintaining efficient operations and providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and accurately document their service needs
• Schedule and assign service appointments
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of repair orders
• Communicate with technicians/service manager to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of vehicles
• Provide accurate price estimates and obtain customer approvals
• Address customer concerns and provide excellent service resolution
• Maintain service records and documentation

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a service writer or in a similar role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in using computer and automotive software
• Honest,Reliable and the ability to show up on time and on your scheduled dates to work. This is a very important position at the dealership if being late or calling off of work is a common treat for you, this position is not for you!
