Description
Position Summary:
This associate will spend significant time conceptualizing, planning and leading the development of Penske’s marketing strategies, messaging and experiences in all channels - specifically across Lease and Maintenance Contract Sales, Logistics Services, Commercial Rental, and Remarketing (Used Trucks Sales) teams. They will have a deep understanding of our customers, target audience, marketing channels, industry trends, the marketplace landscape and Penske’s value propositions across the enterprise. 

This role will focus on the development of strategic marketing activities, overall sales/marketing alignment and the implementation of omni-channel marketing campaigns including sales enablement, web sites, social media, digital advertising, email, events, content development, lead generation, and more.

This role will enable us to take Penske's brand and marketing efforts to the next level and therefore increase awareness, buyer engagement and consideration across channels.

Major Responsibilities:
• Lead marketing strategy, execution and planning across product line offerings.  
• Advocate for and inspire benefit-focused marketing and storytelling in promoting our brand to customers and decision makers.
• Partner with product line leadership, Marketing, and external stakeholders—including customers, industry associations, and key business partners—to execute the strategy and build effective channels that deliver brand experience and messaging to customers and prospects.
• Provide leadership, direction and oversight of a team whose primary responsibility is the execution of Penske's product line marketing initiatives and strategies.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.



Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields required
• Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 -10 years of marketing agency, corporate marketing/communications experience required.
• Collaborate across marketing functions, business stakeholders and Sr. leadership
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Skilled at conceptualizing, evaluating, and curating content to meet brand, marketing and messaging needs
• Skilled at synthesizing many sources of intelligence into a clear and concise story
• Understand our brand message – turn that into an elegant story, experience etc.
• Self - driven to stay on top of relevant innovative approaches to marketing strategy and planning, marketing communications, sales support and storytelling
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas
• Collaborative and willing to work with a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
