We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Growth (Sales & Marketing) – Semiconductor & Metallurgy Markets to spearhead growth for our DSI team in Poestenkill, NY. This role is ideal for a driven, innovative leader who thrives on building strategies that open new markets, strengthen partnerships, and expand global reach.
You will be the architect of VPG’s growth, responsible for identifying opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue through strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. This position combines vision, strategy, and execution to ensure VPG remains at the forefront of sensing technology innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing leadership, preferably within industrial, sensing, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
Proven record of driving strategic growth and delivering measurable results.
Experience managing global markets and complex sales cycles.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).

Salary range: $175,000-$200,000 annually
