Job Description:
As the Director of Strategic Communications & Brand Management, your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Marketing
- Developing and implementing integrated marketing and communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Responsible for brand management of Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community including increasing awareness of the commitment to the mission, values, vision, and principles of CKV-TBHC.
- Supervising Marketing department including overseeing the program, planning and budget of the department.
- Coordinating the work and budgets of outside consultants related to the development and implementation of marketing programs.
- Conducting competitor analysis, compile an annual marketing data scorecard and conduct other marketing related research. Reviewing census, contract options, entrance fees, monthly fees, programs and services, amenities, marketing and residency materials.
- Planning, coordinating, and implementing the marketing of new/expansion and current projects and services.
- Partnering with CKV's Recruiter to maintain a strong yet distinct image on several platforms. Share SEO and social media expertise.
- Partnering with CKV's Director of Memory Support to maintain a strong yet distinct image on several platforms.
- Responsible for promoting Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community to the general public and appropriate media outlets.
- Responsible for developing a marketing, communication and outreach plan for key healthcare referral sources. Developing a marketing and communication plan for area churches, service organizations, aging-related agencies and other community groups.
- Directing planning and coordination of special events to enhance organizational image and profile.
Communication
- Managing all internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, and executive communications.
- Serving as a media liaison and manage media relationships and public relations strategies.
- Overseeing crisis communication plans and ensure readiness.
Digital & Content
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of digital platforms (website, social media, email marketing).
- Leading content strategy and ensuring high-quality, engaging, and timely content is produced.
- Optimizing content for SEO and audience engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure alignment of messaging and support cross-functional goals.
- Engaging with key stakeholders, partners, and influencers to expand the organization’s reach.
- Supporting fundraising and business development efforts through strategic communication initiatives
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Health Management, Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Must have excellent technical, analytical, communication and long range planning skills.
- Understanding of Life Plan Communities and nonprofit management is required.
