The Director of Marketing at TROY is a dynamic, strategic leader responsible for driving all aspects of the company’s marketing initiatives to generate leads, increase sales, and elevate brand presence. This role requires a forward-thinking executive with proven experience in AI-driven marketing strategies, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration. The Director will lead a high-performing team, act as a player-coach, and work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Engineering to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a rolling 12-month marketing strategy focused on lead generation, brand growth, and revenue acceleration.
- Champion innovation through AI-powered marketing tools, predictive analytics, and automation platforms.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies and product positioning.
- Own the company’s branding, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Supervise and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share.
- Partner with Product Development and Engineering to support new product launches, including go-to-market planning and sales enablement.
Campaign Execution & Performance
- Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns using AI-enhanced tools across direct mail, web, social media, and email.
- Monitor KPIs and generate monthly marketing reports to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Organize and manage company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
AI-Driven Marketing Focus
- Leverage AI for customer segmentation, personalization, and predictive lead scoring.
- Implement machine learning models to optimize campaign targeting and performance.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and trends to continuously improve marketing outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Lead product launches, sales training, and enablement programs.
- Publish pricing lists and promotional materials in sync with digital communications.
- Drive thought leadership through e-books, webinars, and editorial content.
- Oversee social media strategy and execution.
- Analyze marketing data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of marketing leadership experience in B2B environments.
- Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of AI applications in marketing, including automation, analytics, and personalization.
- Experience in enterprise software, Fintech, or print security markets is a plus.
- Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing.
