Digital Bindery Operator

Position Overview
We are seeking a Digital Bindery Operator to support bindery and finishing production in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting bindery equipment to ensure printed materials are finished accurately, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with machine operation experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality. Prior bindery, print, or finishing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong production or machine operation backgrounds may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate digital bindery and finishing equipment
• Monitor equipment throughout production to ensure machines are running properly
• Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production flow
• Review job instructions, measurements, and production specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot minor machine or quality issues to keep production moving
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail throughout each job
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Experience
• Experience operating bindery, finishing, or digital production equipment preferred
• Prior print manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience setting up, adjusting, or troubleshooting production equipment helpful
• Machine operation experience in any manufacturing environment will be considered
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic tools
• Ability to read and follow job instructions, measurements, and production requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work 3rd shift
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, turn, kneel, stoop, crouch, and occasionally push or pull up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Someone with bindery, finishing, digital print, or print manufacturing experience would be a strong fit, but the company may also consider candidates who have strong machine operation experience and a willingness to learn skilled bindery equipment.
