Overview
This person will assist the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in all aspects of Athletic Communications for the department, specifically focusing on intercollegiate athletics. This position will follow a 211-Day Calendar.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Recreational Education, Health, Sports Administration, Communication, Journalism or other related discipline. Required
- Master's Degree in Sports Administration, Communication, Journalism or related discipline. Preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years' experience in an NCAA athletic/recreational program with a background in sports information/journalism. Required
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Evidence of creativity and ingenuity in developing programs and solving problems. Required
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required
- Self-starter. Required
- Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills. Required
- Ability to manage multiple sports, projects, deadlines, and responsibilities simultaneously. Required
- Knowledge of athletic statistics and sports information operations. Preferred
- Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms. Required
- Possession of a valid driver's license. Required
- Familiarity with data processing and statistical procedure. Preferred

Based on minimum education and experience qualifications the yearly salary range is $43,000 - $48,000.
