About the Role

This is a mid-to-senior level leadership role where you will:

  • Shape integrated, omni-channel communications strategies grounded in brand goals.
  • Mentor and manage a Public Relations Strategist, cultivating their professional growth.
  • Ensure consistency and insight across media, creative, account, and strategy stakeholders.
  • Bring the shopper’s voice alive through consumer-first planning, compelling narratives, and data-driven campaign analysis.


What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Planning: Translate brand and business objectives into integrated, omni-channel communication strategies.
  • Consumer Journey Mapping: Develop channel-agnostic journey maps from awareness to purchase.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop the Public Relations Strategist, providing guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work with media, creative, and account teams to align strategies with client goals and consumer behaviors.
  • Analytical Insights: Use tools such as Nielsen, IRI, and Numerator to uncover category, brand, and shopper trends.
  • Data Analysis: Leverage first- and third-party data to identify actionable insights and growth opportunities.
  • Narrative Development: Turn complex data into clear, compelling narratives that guide strategy and creative briefing.
  • Creative Alignment: Contribute to brainstorms and creative evaluations to ensure alignment and consistency across touchpoints.
  • Campaign Analysis: Interpret campaign performance data, create wrap-up reports, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Shopper Media Management: Partner with third-party shopper media vendors to plan and execute shopper campaigns.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years in communications strategy, media planning, or integrated marketing; including at least 2 years in management or mentorship roles.
  • Deep understanding of the shopper journey, omni-channel touchpoints, and consumer behavior.
  • Advanced analytic skills with tools like Nielsen, IRI, Numerator.
  • Proven ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by purpose-led strategy.

Additional Details

  • Travel: Up to ~15%.
  • Hybrid Work Model: In-office on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; remote on Tuesday and Friday at any one of our locations—Harrisburg, Philadelphia, or Atlanta.
