Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a full-time Communications and Social Media Engagement Specialist to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication strategies across multiple channels with a strong emphasis on social media engagement. This position will work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance brand visibility, promote our mission, and engage diverse audiences including clients, partners, and the broader community.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes comprehensive communications plans to support organizational goals, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Manages multiple social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others), crafting engaging content and monitoring interactions.
- Creates, edits, and publishes written, visual, and multimedia content for social media, website, newsletters, and press releases.
- Monitors trends and analytics to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies and adjust plans to maximize reach and engagement.
- Fosters positive online communities by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborates with internal teams to gather stories, testimonials, and updates to share through communications channels.
- Assists in crisis communications and reputation management on digital platforms as needed.
- Tracks and reports on communications and social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Supports the planning and promotion of special events, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Bachelorβs Degree in a related field required.
- Communications and social media engagement experience required.
- Demonstrated success in developing engaging content for multiple platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and an ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office and Canva; experience using Photoshop, InDesign, and other design tools preferred.Β
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks and clearances.
- A valid driverβs license may be required. Depending on the work location, reliable daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle may also be required.
