Job Title: BWise Brand Lead Engineer

Position: Full Time

Location: Chambersburg, PA

Reports to: Sr Manager of Sustaining Engineering

THE ROLE

Responsible for leading new and current facility engineering support for 3D models, 2D assembly drawings, ERP implementation, ECN/ECO management and BOM validation.  Develop standards to maximize efficiency.  Able to lead and motivate a team of engineers and engineering designers to develop best practice work standards for multiple business units.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product or service.
• Help companies increase productivity
• Study product requirements and design manufacturing and information systems to meet requirements
• Perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes.
• Assist in financial planning and cost analysis
• Design production planning and control systems
• Design methods to ensure manufacturing design and product quality (DFM, DFQ, DFMEA, PFMEA, FEA)
• Resolve production problems
• Estimate production costs
• Create sampling procedures and designs
• Evaluate effects of product design changes
• Evaluate warranty complaints and provide analysis/ CM’s
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with eight (8) years of experience with functional related task and duties highly preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in the functional related area or equivalent
• Strong math, analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams
• LEAN process understanding
• Proficient in SolidWorks PDM
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Ability to travel 10 to 25% of time
