We're looking for an experienced In-House Brand Designer/Art Director to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The right candidate is a creative, collaborative designer with strong art direction skills and experience managing projects from concept to completion.
This role requires the ability to turn business goals and brand messaging into effective visual designs. The ideal candidate has experience developing and managing brand assets, creating design concepts, and overseeing the review, refinement, and production of both print and digital materials.
Working closely with teams across the company, this person will transform ideas into compelling visual communications that strengthen our brand and support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality brand assets that position, promote, and build awareness of PWCampbell, balancing creative problem-solving with strong execution as both a thinker and a do-er.
- Apply, maintain, and help evolve PWCampbell's brand architecture across the organization, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all marketing channels, including print communications, sales support materials, trade shows, social media, and the company website.
- Design and produce presentations and proposals, brochures, flyers, outbound sales campaign materials (direct mail and digital) for the sales team and contributing thoughtful design solutions in support of the company's marketing and communications efforts.
Requirements:
- Ability to work on a wide range of projects and media using Adobe Creative Suite programs, Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
- Obtain approval from the marketing team to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company and client appropriately.
- Update and maintain internal databases of designs assets such as graphic elements, designs, photography, and video.
- Keep abreast of the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to produce innovative and competitive designs, presentations, and marketing communications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent training) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.
- Twelve or more years of experience in graphic design with some experience in a director role or related field.
- Extensive design software knowledge - Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.) Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, schedule project implementation, and track progress using project management software
