Salary Range: $35,600 - $51,500
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in increasing awareness of and attendance at athletic events among the Temple student and employee populations. This role will support the development and execution of all department marketing initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will also contribute to the creation and implementation of the marketing plan for Men's Soccer, including writing game scripts and working with the coaching staff, video/graphics team, and others. The Marketing Coordinator will perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field. At least two years of directly related full-time experience in sports marketing. Demonstrated experience in marketing with a focus on sports, athletes, and consumers. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop software
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to identifying a wide variety of sports trends and scenes on the regional and national levels.
- Demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office package.
- The ability to manage several tasks and/or projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference and University rules.
