Job Description


Summary
This position provides technical and operational support for Jefferson's telecommunications systems, including voice, mobility, and call center platforms. This entry-level role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting with the implementation of telecom solutions to ensure reliable communication services across the organization.

Job Duties

  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of VoIP, PBX, and cloud-based call center systems.

  • Work closely with senior analysts and vendors for system upgrades and implementations.

  • Follow Jefferson’s IT standards and healthcare technology protocols.

  • Respond to service requests and resolve complex telecom issues under supervision.

  • Maintain accurate records of configurations, incidents, and resolutions.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 5 years related work experience

  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and healthcare technology landscape.

  • Exposure to cellular networks, automatic call distribution, and VoIP systems.

  • Understanding of third party integrated solutions such as ACD, VM, and Cloud Based Telephony.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
