Position Summary and Qualifications:

Saint Joseph’s University has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. We seek candidates with a demonstrated interest in areas associated with general marketing, digital marketing, sports marketing, entertainment marketing, sales management, advertising, and public relations. Professionals with experience in the above will be given preference.

Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day and also in the evening. Applicants are required to provide a resume/CV as well as a cover letter.

The Department of Marketing offers a large number of courses within the Haub School of Business, both in-person and online. Courses available for adjunct staffing are

  • Sports Marketing

  • Digital and Social Media Marketing/Mobile Marketing

  • Sales Management

  • Event or Entertainment Marketing

  • Advertising or Promotion management

  • Public Relations

  • Marketing research/Marketing Analytics

  • International Marketing

Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching of a specified course

  • Preparation of materials

  • Providing support and guidance to students

  • Reporting grades as well as cooperating in program assessment

In addition to meeting all scheduled class session, adjunct faculty are expected to offer one hour of office hours each week.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related major
