University Communications and Marketing tells the compelling stories of WCU faculty, students, alumni, and staff across numerous media platforms and is dedicated to promoting and strengthening WCU's image on local, regional and national levels through strategic brand development, marketing, media relations, publication design & development and social media. The Web Team assists with the technical design, production, and maintenance of WCU’s internal and external websites, SharePoint, and mobile site. The team maintains over 7,000 web pages, supports the development and maintenance of many more, and automates and streamlines manual processes by developing online forms.
Reporting to the Director of Web Communications, The SharePoint Web Specialist creates, maintains, and supports campus SharePoint including PowerApps, Power Automate, permission delegation, and site/site collection administration; helps to maintain accessibility and marketing standards on the WCU websites; and provides customer support for the campus partners including faculty, staff and students.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience maintaining SharePoint sites and using Power Apps and Power Automation; knowledge of accessibility standards; excellent customer service skills; and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse campus community while contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
